I read all your stuff and it appears compelling, but in the cold light of day, very few/none of these hints and tips work in the actual game itself. I found out recently that you are Rashidi over at SI towers, I never would have put your face and personality with your SI persona, anyway. The most consistent part of FM24 I've found is inconsistency. Generally I start with a lower or mid table side in the EPL and either with d/loaded tactics(or more recently my own) I overachieve(Luton 7th, West Ham champions, both in season 1) I then strengthen the squad where needed, better players more suited to the roles and that works for a time(half a season maybe) after that I continue to dominate games and create a host of chances, but either struggle to put these chances away or, the AI begin scoring with practically every effort on target. I've literally had 4 or 5 games in a row where I've averaged 6 to 10 ccc's and half chances per game whilst the AI create nothing yet are still managing to score 2 or 3 goals and win against me. I've tried your tactics and implemented your "rest defence" as well as many more instructions from your guides and tips, but to no avail. The only constant I've found in the game is that by having players with just two high attributes(pace and acceleration) being the only way to continually have success, even with inferior players. My hypothesis appears to have recently been proven and it has left many FM'ers angry and shocked that the game/match engine is in fact so shallow and not some the complex, wonderfully coded creation. With all of your insights regarding this game, do you have anything to say about this recent bombshell?

Would this be good for a 442? Trying to get the most out of saka, should I have him on a w-a with like an IFB-d, or have him as an IW-a with a fb-s? I like playing with max width to stretch the opponents, but I don’t want him to just get down to the end and cross it. I want more higher tempo where more through balls are played

Won everything with my Leeds team playing attacking geggenpress. The game is easy if you play like a bielsa team. Everytime i have tried a low block i get destroyed, this video was very interesting. Makes me want to play as an underdog team and master the low block. The game seems to make it near impossible, though 😢

Hi BTN, I’ve been searching for a video quite similar to this, I need a video on how to read opposition scouting reports, basically how they play out of the back, how they press, the defensive line and line of engagement, etc I can’t seem to get this from the opposition analytics, or is it a problem with how the data hub is set up?? so if the data hub is useless and the club has 5 performance/data analysts should they just be fired I guess saving the club a lot of money, esp lower league teams seems like a good saving.

Every other tactics uses tight marking hard tackle and high pressing, so basically OI is only used for show unto foot...

standart press and low block tactics never worked for me this year. thats why i always find myself playing gegenpressing with high blocks which is very boring. the game has no variety.

You cannot play a 4-2-4 with two identical half backs and no midfield players. You exploit the match engine that way. It’s like a striker less tactic. The match engine gets fooled because it acts like you have a midfield.

Ive used the view in the Players in Range screen , saved it to a file , but when i upload it using the Dr Jit upload screen it goes red and says : Something went wrong, please post the file and issue in the BTN discord channel with the file,, whats gone wrong ??
